1:1 Coaching

So… imagine I am saying this to you quietly, like it's something important:

"If you've been feeling stuck for a while… this might be the space you didn't know you were allowed to have."

Because that's what I create.

Not a rigid programme. Not a place where you have to perform or get it "right." But a space where you can finally slow down, look at what's actually going on, and begin to find your own way forward.

What this space is like

People often arrive feeling tangled.

Same patterns repeating. Same frustrations showing up. A quiet sense of surely it doesn't have to be this hard?

And maybe you have tried to fix it before. With willpower. With strategies that work for other people. With pushing through.

This is different.

The work starts with understanding. How your brain works. What drains you, even if you're good at it. What actually matters to you beneath all the expectations.

And then, from there, things begin to shift. Not overnight. But steadily. In a way that feels real.

What makes my approach different

I don't do one-size-fits-all coaching.

Everything is shaped around you. Your life. Your capacity. What's actually happening right now.

Some sessions might be practical and grounded, looking at real-life challenges and finding ways through them. Others might be more reflective, exploring patterns, beliefs, or the quieter parts of you that haven't had much space before.

I often work with ADHD and AuDHD adults, people navigating burnout or late diagnosis, those who look "fine" on the outside but feel stretched thin underneath, and anyone ready to understand themselves more deeply and live more in alignment with who they are.

And I bring in a mix of ADHD coaching and practical tools, trauma-informed awareness, positive psychology, and creative approaches like metaphor, parts work, and imagination.

It's thoughtful. Flexible. And very human.

What you might begin to notice

People don't usually leave with a completely different life after a few sessions.

But they do start to notice things like:

"I feel like I understand how my brain works now."

"I can actually communicate what I need."

"I didn't realise how much I've been masking… and I'm starting to let that go."

"Just because I'm good at something doesn't mean I have to keep doing it."

"I feel… kinder towards myself."

And perhaps the biggest one: "I can change things. I actually have agency here."

What people have said

  • “It's about guiding your own thoughts and coming to your own conclusions, by gently challenging your beliefs and what you think to know to be "true".”

  • “I think it's helped me realise more about the things I find interesting and what I find draining even though I may be good at it. I don't think I had thought too much before about things I am good at also being draining but as a concept that's been helpful - just because I am good at something, it doesn't mean I have to do that thing all the time.”

  • “Very down to earth, practical, and addresses problem areas from the start.”

  • “Anita is very wise. She has learnt so much through her own ADHD journey. She is that beautiful combination of someone with ADHD, who also has navigated successfully the neurotypical world, has high executive functioning, and is able to act as a bridge between the two. Learning from Anita is a wonderful experience - fun (expect lots of laughter), informative, kind, respectful and intelligent.”

The way I work with you

This isn't about following a strict plan.

It's more like walking alongside someone who listens deeply, helps you untangle what feels like a knot, offers tools that actually fit your life, and gently nudges you towards the things you might be a little scared to face.

"There is something about coaching with you that felt like, I don't know if this makes sense, but a bit like going on a bear hunt. And that I had somebody in gumboots next to me kind of going through it, not just around it and over it and shying away. And it turned out, you know, there's some honey to be found at the end."

If you're wondering whether this is for you

If you're feeling stuck… if you are tired of repeating the same patterns… if you suspect there's a different way of living, but you can't quite see it yet… then this might be a really good place to start.

You don't need to have it all figured out.

You just need a willingness to look, and someone who knows how to look with you.

If that sounds like something you've been needing, I think we might get along beautifully.
